RTP (Return to Player) is the share of wagered money a slot returns over its full mathematical lifetime. The theoretical RTP is set by the game provider and certified by a testing lab — 96.50%, say. It is a property of the game's maths, not a reading you can take off a single day of play.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. To measure a slot's actual return to within ±1% you need on the order of tens of millions of spins on that one game, because a single 5,000× hit moves the average by more than a week of ordinary play. Anyone showing you a "live RTP" that swings a few percent a day is showing you the noise, not the game. We used to do exactly that here; we stopped.

No, and we tested it rather than assuming. We ran autocorrelation checks (Ljung-Box) on our own recorded payout series and found nothing: the sequences are indistinguishable from independent draws, which is what a certified RNG is supposed to produce. Classification uses order statistics rather than standard deviation — split-half testing put standard deviation at 46% disagreement between halves of the same sample versus 4.7% for hit rate, since one outsized win rewrites it.
